台州模具集团创建于1997年1o月，由原黄岩新桥五金模具厂、新桥模具厂、新桥鞋类模具厂为核心改制成台州模具集团有限公司，以浙江荣达实业有限公司、台州市大发汽车零部件厂、台州市新桥塑料模具厂为紧密层，以台州市和隆工贸有限公司、新航模具厂等6家模具厂为半紧密层、松散层，共12家企业组成集团化集体。
